joey's weekly tangle challenge #181

Welcome back!
Today is Labour Day in Canada,
which to many of us means that
school starts tomorrow!

It's been a great summer and so nice to have an opportunity to recharge.

We live near the world famous Butchart Gardens so every weekend is a blast (of fireworks!)  We watch the high ones from our dock and I love the reflection in the water!

Labour Day weekend also means the annual Country Fair.
Here are few of the creative projects that my kids entered.

my son sewed his bear - Dudley a new outfit

my daughter baked 'hamburger' cupcakes with a brownie patty, coconut lettuce, red icing ketchup and swiss cheese made with edible sugar paper.

Faber-Castell White Pitt Pastel                               Prismacolor pencil

My daughter also entered 2 of her drawings.
The fellow in the right photo is Shawn Mendes.

  2. Wow, my "kids" (well past 30) could not do that good today! You have very talented children Joey! I'm thinking many Blue Ribbons. I might be very late next week we are helping my sons family move from Chicago back to Canada.

  3. Your children are very talented. IMO, it's just so cool for a young man to actually sew something. The outfit for his bear is such a good-looking getup. Your daughter's cupcakes and artwork are to die for. I think her tiger is just spectacular! Kudos to both of them!

  6. You have transferred your creativity to your children, dear Joey. The drawings of your daughter are great and the teddy of your son is heart-loving. I like your fourth fragment too!
I myself have enjoyed the drawing again very much and I am already looking forward to the fifth part in the puzzle. Greetings from Germany, Margarete
